What data we process
- When you contact us by phone, e-mail, WhatsApp or Telegram: your name, phone number, e-mail or messenger account, and whatever you write or send us (a description of the house or apartment, the property address, photos, the work you need).
- When you sign a contract with us: the data needed to perform it and to invoice.
- When you browse the website: technical data (IP address, browser type, time of the request) processed by the hosting provider to run and secure the site.
Why and on what legal basis
- Handling your enquiry, preparing an offer and arranging a visit — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Performing the contract for work — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Meeting legal obligations, such as accounting and tax — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Running and securing the website and protecting our legal claims — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Anonymous visit statistics — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); recognising return visits with a cookie — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
How long we keep data
- An enquiry that does not lead to a contract — no longer than 12 months from the last contact.
- A contract and related correspondence — while it lasts and then for the limitation periods.
- Accounting records — for the period set by the Czech Accounting Act (5 years); tax documents — as tax rules require.
Who receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and security. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
- Zoho — e-mail mailbox (EU data centre).
- WhatsApp and Telegram — only if you write to us there; these services process data under their own policies.
- Accountants and legal advisers to the extent necessary, and public authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Cookies and statistics
Strictly necessary technical data in your browser: the ‘lang’ cookie (your chosen language, 1 year), the ‘kh_consent’ cookie (your choice about cookies, 1 year) and your saved light or dark mode setting.
Statistics: for every visit we anonymously record which page you opened, where you came from (for example Google), the type of device (phone, tablet, computer), the country and clicks on the phone number, e-mail, WhatsApp or Telegram. We do not store your IP address or browser details.
Only if you click ‘Accept’ do we store the ‘kh_v’ cookie with a random identifier (13 months) to recognise return visits. You can withdraw your consent at any time under ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of the website. Statistics records are deleted after 13 months; they are stored in a Cloudflare database. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
